Leader for Small Businesses, Education & Safety

Advocating for communities and entrepreneurs

Jeff Weninger has lived in Chandler with his wife and three kids for more than 20 years. Jeff has dedicated his time to serving our community, both as a small business owner and elected leader.  Jeff is co-owner of Dilly's Deli, with three locations throughout the valley, and Chandler's very own Floridino's Pizza and Pasta. His commitment to public service led Jeff to serve eight years on Chandler City Council before being elected to the Arizona House, representing Legislative District 17.

During his time at the Capitol, Jeff has been a champion for small business, education, and school choice. He is fighting to keep our communities safe end encouraging economic growth by keeping taxes low and reducing bureaucratic red tape.

Jeff brings an entrepreneurial mindset to the Legislature. He has developed a reputation as a fierce advocate for our local businesses, community schools, and Arizona families, which is why Jeff is recognized by Chambers of Commerce, business organizations, and public safety groups alike as a champion for District 17.

Issues

Jobs and economy

A growing economy in Arizona means more opportunity for all of our residents. As a former Chandler City Councilman, I have the experience and know what it takes to attract large and small companies to Arizona.

taxes

As your State Representative, I will continue to fight to keep taxes low and our budget balanced. Lower taxes will continue to help attract large corporations from California and beyond to our state while allowing us to remain competitive with other states in the region

education

All three of my children are attending or have graduated from Chandler Unified School District. It's vitally important that we commit to improving our education system at all levels. Arizona students need the resources necessary to be competitive.

public safety

Your safety should be Arizona's number one priority. I will continue the fight to get more resources to the Department of Public Safety as well as the Department of Child Services.
